Cincinnati, OH 11/12/2022- The Blue Jay women's basketball team took on Case Western Reserve in their second game of the Lauren Hill Classic. It would be all Spartans after they took an early 30-12 lead in the first quarter and would win the game to a final score of 79-50. The Spartans remain undefeated on the season, improving to 3-0. The Blue Jays fall to 1-2 on the young season.
The Jays were led by Annette Ramirez (Sarcoxie, MO / Sarcoxie) and Shelby Kurtz (Camdenton, Mo. / Camdenton) who had nine points and eight points, respectively. Freshman Trishelle Porter (California, MO / California) would have six points coming off the bench.
The Blue Jays will return home to Fulton and look to regroup as they prepare to take on Nebraska Wesleyan on Tuesday, November 22nd. That game will tip off at 6:00 PM.
