9/16/2025 Fulton, MO - The Westminster volleyball team continued its strong run with a dominant 3–0 sweep over Knox on Tuesday night (25–20, 25–14, 25–14). The Blue Jays controlled the match from start to finish, using a balanced offensive attack and strong defense to secure the win.
Paige Rowland led the way with 10 kills, while Samantha Hansen and Kylie Hasselbacher each chipped in nine. Katelynn Jackson added eight kills of her own while hitting an impressive .500 on the night.
Landrey VanOverschelde directed the offense with 28 assists, while Emma Behrmann added nine and Haylie Schnake contributed four. Schnake also anchored the defense with a match-high 12 digs, followed closely by Jackson (10), VanOverschelde (9), and Meghan Nolte (9).
Westminster's efficiency at the net was a difference-maker, as Schnake hit a perfect 1.000, Jackson swung at .500, Hansen finished at .467, and VanOverschelde contributed a .400 mark.
With the win, the Blue Jays improve their momentum heading into their next matchup at home against Spalding on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
