9/8/2025 Fulton, MO – The Westminster men's soccer team dropped a 3–1 decision to UW-Whitewater on Sunday afternoon.
The Blue Jays struck first in the 21st minute when Nathan Naumann scored his third goal of the season, finishing a pass from Braedon Cairer to give Westminster the early 1–0 advantage. Whitewater answered before halftime, leveling the score in the 36th minute. The Warhawks then pulled ahead with goals in the 71st and 86th minutes to close out the match.
Goalkeeper Danny Monroy finished with eight saves, keeping Westminster in the match against a strong Warhawks attack.
The Blue Jays move to 3–1 on the season and will be back in action on Tuesday, September 9, at Lindenwood University. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
