Monmouth, IL 2/15/2026 - The Westminster track & field teams continued their indoor seasons on Saturday, competing at Monmouth College's Roger Haynes Invitational. Athletes set five new program records throughout the course of the meet.

The action began with two new program records in the high jump. Freshman
Ellie Schisler bested her own program record from the season opener, clearing 1.43 meters and securing fifth place in the event. Then, freshman
Nik Thieman beat the men's record by clearing 1.75 meters, finishing seventh.

In the throws, sophomore
Ilana Heffer bested the women's weight throw record (originally set last weekend by
Amber Dierling) with a mark of 9.36 meters. On the track, freshman
Aidan Szczodroski made his season debut in the 60-meter hurdles, where his time of 9.64 beat the previous record by over a second and a half. Finally, the men's 4x200 meter relay team of Szczordoski, Thieman, sophomore
Weston Jennings and freshman
Chase Arnold set a new program record with their time of 1:39.42.

The men's and women's track & field teams are back in action on Friday, February 20th, at the Illinois College Snow Bird Open in Jacksonville, Illinois.
