2/21/2026 Fulton, MO – The Westminster men's basketball team wrapped up its 2025-26 season Saturday with a 88-54 road contest at Lyon. The Blue Jays finish the year 6-20 overall and 2-14 in SLIAC play. 

Westminster faced an early deficit, trailing 35-24 at halftime. Lyon extended its lead in the second half despite the Blue Jays continuing to compete through the final buzzer. 

Bryon Gold led Westminster with eight points on an efficient 4-of-6 shooting performance. Walker Gohring and Sean LaRose each added five points, with LaRose knocking down a three-pointer and going 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. Kolton Garner contributed five points, while Jamile Johnson and Gavin Hendrix each scored four. Kaden Howard provided four points off the bench, converting all four of his free-throw attempts. 

Westminster saw contributions throughout the lineup in its final outing of the season. The game marked the conclusion of the Blue Jays' 2025-26 campaign.
