Class of '28: An all-state performer in football, baskeball and
baseball at Westminster. Went on to coach Oklahoma State to two
national baskeball titles. Coached the United States to a pair of
gold medals in baskeball and coached the 1972 United States teams
that lost to the Russians to the disputed championship game.
Compiles a 767-338 coaching record druing a Hall of Fame career,
which includes induction into the Baskeball Hall of Fame and
Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
The court in the Westminster Historic Gymnasium is currently
named after him.
