Class of '00: Arrived at Westminster College in 1996. In
four years he owned the NCAA all-division career
records for receptions (436), receiving yards
(6,108) and touchdown catches (75). A four-time
all-conference performer, he earned All-American
honors in 1997, 1998 and 1999. A CoSida Academic
All-American in 1999, Pingel also was named the
1999 Melberger Award winner as the NCAA Division
III National Football Player of the Year (shown
above with Coach John Welty). Pingel's #10
jersey is retired and he was inducted into
the SLIAC Hall of Fame in 2009.
