Jacob Sauvage joined Westminster College as the Assistant for Game Day Management and Game Day Operations, Tennis Coordinator, and Assistant Golf Coach. In his roles, he helps coordinate and support home athletic events while working closely with student-athletes, coaches, and staff across multiple sports. He also assists with both the men’s and women’s golf programs, marking the beginning of his coaching career.
Before joining Westminster, Sauvage competed collegiately in both soccer and golf. He spent two years playing soccer at East Central College before transferring to Blackburn College, where he competed for one year in soccer and three years in golf. During his golf career at Blackburn, he gained valuable collegiate experience and recorded a first-place finish at the BC-MC Spring Tournament.
His experience as a multi-sport student-athlete has given him a strong understanding of the commitment, preparation, teamwork, and dedication required to compete at the collegiate level. As he begins his coaching career, Sauvage is excited to help develop Westminster’s student-athletes both on and off the course while supporting the continued success of the Blue Jays’ athletic programs.
Sauvage is excited to bring his experience as a student-athlete and his passion for athletics to Westminster College while continuing to grow professionally in collegiate athletic administration and coaching.
