10/24/2025 Fulton, MO - The Westminster volleyball team continued its late-season surge with a hard-fought four-set victory over Greenville University on the road Friday night (22–25, 30–28, 27–25, 25–23). The Blue Jays battled through long rallies and tight sets to earn a statement win in conference play.
Meghan Nolte led the charge offensively with 13 kills and a stellar .407 hitting percentage, while Samantha Hansen matched her intensity with 13 kills of her own and 7 blocks. Katelynn Jackson and Kylie Hasselbacher added 8 and 12 kills, as Westminster spread the attack across multiple hitters to keep Greenville's defense off balance.
Landrey VanOverschelde directed the Blue Jays' offense with 32 assists, also contributing 13 digs and a strong .600 hitting percentage at the net. Defensively, Haylie Schnake anchored the back row with 17 digs, and Emma Behrmann added 20 assists, helping Westminster control the pace in key moments.
The Blue Jays showed resilience in the second and third sets, coming from behind to edge Greenville 30–28 and 27–25 before sealing the match 25–23 in the fourth. With the win, Westminster improves its conference record and carries momentum into a tri-match on Saturday, October 25, where the Blue Jays will face Webster and Eureka.
