11/15/2025 Fulton, MO - Westminster powered its way into the SLIAC Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon with a clean 3–0 sweep over MUW, taking the semifinal by scores of 25–21, 25–22, and 25–19. The win moves the Blue Jays to 28–7 overall and 13–2 in conference play, securing their spot in tonight's championship match against Greenville at 6 p.m. 

The Blue Jays' offense found its rhythm early and stayed consistent throughout the match. Paige Rowland led the team with 11 kills while adding four aces and 16.5 total points. Katelynn Jackson posted nine kills of her own, while Samantha Hansen added eight with an impressive .533 hitting percentage. Meghan Nolte contributed a steady seven kills and a team-high seven digs, helping control MUW's attack in key moments. 

Landrey VanOverschelde steered the offense with 34 assists and added two aces and 10 digs, posting another all-around performance in tournament play. Haylie Schnake anchored the back row with a team-best 12 digs and passed efficiently to ignite transition scoring. 

Westminster's balance at the net made the difference, finishing with 39 total kills on a .211 hitting percentage while limiting MUW's scoring runs with strong serving and timely defense. With the sweep, the Blue Jays advance to the SLIAC Championship match and will face Greenville tonight at 6 p.m. with the conference title on the line.
