2/15/2026 Fulton, MO - The Westminster men's volleyball team earned a hard-fought five-set victory over Wabash, winning 25-19, 13-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-13. With the win, the Blue Jays improve to 13-4 on the season.
Westminster came out strong in the opening set, taking control early for a 25-19 win. Wabash answered by claiming the second and third sets, putting the Blue Jays on the brink. Westminster responded in set four, grinding out a 25-23 victory to force a decisive fifth set. In the final frame, the Blue Jays held their composure and closed out the match with a 15-13 win to secure the comeback victory.
Derrick Turner delivered a dominant performance with 22 kills on 39 swings, hitting .385 to lead all attackers. Brady Sickles added 10 kills and two service aces, while Charlie Haas contributed seven kills and three total blocks. Ethan Floyd provided an efficient spark with six kills on eight attempts, hitting .625. Connor Johnson directed the offense with 44 assists and eight digs, helping Westminster finish with 56 kills and a .289 team hitting percentage. The Blue Jays also totaled 12 blocks and 32 digs in the win.
Westminster will return to action on Friday, Feb. 20, when they travel to Central Christian College for a 4 p.m. matchup.
