In the opener, Westminster dropped a 7-5 decision despite outhitting its opponent 11-5. The Blue Jays came out strong, scoring three runs in the first two innings and adding two more in the fifth. Carlie Regier led the offense with a perfect 4-for-4 performance, including two doubles and an RBI. Paige Cruzan, Ellie Schisler, Morgan Rusley, and Gabriella Pierre each drove in a run as well. After building early momentum, a seven-run third inning proved to be the difference. Payton Dudenhoeffer took the loss in the circle, while Lilli Anne Readenour provided solid relief over the final 3.2 innings. Westminster responded in game two with a 3-2 victory, using timely hitting and strong pitching to secure the win. The Blue Jays did all their scoring in the second inning, highlighted by a three-run double from Ellie Schisler that brought home Carlie Regier, Maddie Clubb, and Felicity Kirby. Madison Plybon delivered a standout performance in the circle, tossing a complete game while allowing just two runs and striking out nine. Taylor Engelmeyer, Amber Dierling, Rusley, and Regier each contributed hits as Westminster held on late to seal the win.
