Westminster College Football is proud to announce an outstanding haul of postseason awards, as the Blue Jays were heavily represented in the
Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) 2025 All-Conference selections, highlighted by
defensive lineman Jeremiah Belizaire, who was named both
UMAC Defensive Player of the Year and
Co-Defensive Lineman of the Year. The 15 All-UMAC selections are the most All-Conference selections since 2009.
Belizaire anchored a Westminster defensive front that finished the 2025 season ranked No. 5 nationally in NCAA Division III in both tackles for loss and sacks, earning respect not only across the UMAC but on the national statistical stage. He was joined by multiple teammates across both the First and Second All-UMAC Teams, demonstrating the growth, competitiveness, and talent present inside the Blue Jay program. All postseason honors were voted on by UMAC head coaches based on conference play.
FIRST-TEAM ALL-UMAC SELECTIONS
Westminster was represented by six impact players on the All-UMAC First Team, highlighting the depth and talent of the Blue Jays.
Jeremiah Belizaire anchored the defensive line, leading all of NCAA Division III with 16 sacks, while
DJ Fowler complemented him on the line, finishing 5th in the UMAC in tackles for loss.
Jason Colonius was a force at linebacker, ranking 3rd in the conference in total tackles and 7th in tackles for loss, and
Campton Hicks patrolled the secondary, leading the UMAC in interceptions. On special teams,
William Corley excelled as a punter, topping the conference in punting average, punts inside the 20, and 50+ yard punts, with
Cole Harrell anchoring as the team's long snapper. These First-Team selections reflect Westminster's dominance at all levels of defense and special teams, underscoring the Blue Jays' significant growth and impact throughout the season.
SECOND-TEAM ALL-UMAC SELECTIONS
Westminster also placed nine players on the All-UMAC Second Team, highlighting the team's talent across offense, defense, and special teams.
Trey Thomas led the passing attack, averaging 202.6 yards per game, marking the first time the Blue Jays threw for over 2,000 yards in a season since 2014. At wide receiver,
Keegan Zdybel topped the league with 713 receiving yards and six touchdowns, while
Conner Coffey added four touchdowns and finished 6th in receiving yards. On the ground,
Trace Helsel ranked 4th in the league in rushing, providing balance to Westminster's offensive attack. Offensive line standout
Vince Howard anchored the line, creating opportunities for both the passing and running games. Defensively,
Alex Goly was a key contributor at linebacker, finishing 7th in the UMAC in tackles, and
Daronne Wright excelled in the secondary. In special teams,
William Corley was recognized as Second-Team kicker, and
Aidan Szczodroski earned Second-Team honors as a punt returner, highlighting the Blue Jays' impact in all phases. These Second-Team honors underscore the depth and balance of Westminster's roster and the significant contributions of players across offense, defense, and special teams.
